Montana Skies

Let me tell you about a place, under the Montana skieswhere freedom rides on horseback, and friendship never dies

We rode through Pryor, beneath the big blue skyMountains on the horizon, wild horses running byThe spirit of Chief Plenty Coups, whispering through the treesGuiding us on trails where we ride free

Round the fire, under starlit skiesWe found peace, where the old river liesGuitar strings and laughter, beer in our handsThese are the nights, we live off the lands

Next stop, Custer's battlefield, echoes of the pastStories of survival, and shadows that they castThe wind sang of bravery, under the sun's blazeIn the heart of Montana, where history stays

Round the fire, under starlit skiesWe found peace, where the old river liesGuitar strings and laughter, beer in our handsThese are the nights, we live off the lands

Through the Crow Reservation, history deep and widePassed down through generations, with pride in every strideEdgar's quiet beauty, a serene, untouched delightLed us to Red Lodge by the fading light

Round the fire, under starlit skiesWe found peace, where the old river liesGuitar strings and laughter, beer in our handsThese are the nights, we live off the lands

As the fire dies down, we're holding on to dreamsOf Montana's valleys, and its crystal streamsWe'll ride again by morning light, but for now, we restUnder the Montana skies, feeling truly blessed
